Twelve years ago Kat Cornelius and her spouse adopted their first horses. She then began under the tutelage of horses when she felt the call to go to her first horse workshop, Black Horse Wisdom, at Linda Kohanov’s. There she felt her consciousness expand embodying the energetic dynamics of horse and human. She further experienced the magnitude of horse consciousness at Liz Mitten Ryan’s Equinisity Retreat in Canada.

Kat continued her pursuit of energetic consciousness with horses by learning Reiki and graduating from the Healing The Light Body School in Chile where she applies what she has learned to help horses heal trauma.

With the intent to refine her energy, her travels immersed her essence with indigenous cultures of the Q’ero in the High Andes of Peru, Native American Hopi in Arizona, Mayan of Santiago Atitlan, Mexican Highlands of Chiapas and delving further into the Lancandon Rainforest of Mexico.

The creativity of Wild Flowering Horse, Kat’s business, is a living, breathing ever-changing dynamic that is as unique to each person and horse as it is to each moment in time. Kat seeks to be like a hollow reed for the energy that flows through the creativity she and her horses co-create for clients. With her continually unfolding experiences, she believes being in the presence of horses in nature allows one’s own innate essence to bloom and blossom like a field of wildflowers.

Kat currently resides with her herd of five horses, two dogs, one cat along with her spouse near Ft Worth, Texas. She enjoys spending time in nature, meditation with the horses and writing poetry.
